Motorcyclist Dies From Injuries In Serious Bridgewater Crash
A sad update as a Manville man and motorcyclist has died from his injuries from a crash in Bridgewater earlier this week.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Manville man and motorcyclist, who was involved in a serious crash with a car on Tuesday afternoon, has died, Bridgewater Police said.
On Wednesday at around 8:44 a.m., Roger Ulate of Manville died from his injuries as a result of the crash.
The crash occurred on Tuesday at 12:31 p.m. when a 2020 Subaru Forester, driven by Joanne Horowitz from Bridgewater, and a Harley-Davidson XL-8, driven by Ulate crashed on Garretson Road at the intersection of John Christian Drive, said Bridgewater Traffic Safety Officer Joseph Greco.

Members of the Green Knoll Volunteer Fire Company, Green Knoll Volunteer Rescue Squad, Martinsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, Robert Wood Johnson Hospital Paramedics, and Atlantic Health Systems Air One Unit helped provide help before Ulate was airlifted to a nearby hospital.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time.

The roadway was closed for more than three hours during the investigation and reopened as of 4:35 p.m.
