Multiple Shoplifting Arrests At Bridgewater Stores

Two vehicles were also burglarized while parked at Wegman's and Kinder Kastle recently, Bridgewater Police report.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater Police reported making multiple arrests for shoplifting at township stores.

Bridgewater Police blotter:

On Feb. 23 at 6:42 p.m.: Kenneth J. Polanco, 18, of Somerset, was arrested for shoplifting at Macy’s, located at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Polanco shoplifted perfume valued at $221. During search incident to arrest, Polanco was also in possession of three prescription legend drugs. He was charged with shoplifting and being in possession of three prescription drugs. He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court date.

On Feb. 22 at 5:22 p.m.: William Stephen Adams, 44, of Hillsborough, was arrested for shoplifting
at Target, located at the Bridgewater Promenade. Adams selected merchandise then went into a self pay line where he scanned only select merchandise and did not pay for $341.48 worth of items. He was charged with shoplifting. He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court date.

On Feb. 21: A resident of Piscataway reported that her motor vehicle was burglarized while parked in the parking lot of the Kinder Kastle, located at 157 Union Ave.

On Feb. 17: A resident of Bridgewater reported her motor vehicle was burglarized while it was parked in the Wegmans’ parking lot, located at 724 Route 202.

On Feb. 14 at 2:02 p.m.: Jorge F. Leon-Arellano, 19, of Plainfield, was arrested for shoplifting at Target, located at the Bridgewater Promenade. Leon-Arellano selected merchandise then went into a self pay line where he scanned only select merchandise and did not pay for $391 worth of items. He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court date.

On Feb. 14 at 2:02 p.m.: Jonathan A Galvez-Hernandez, 19, of North Plainfield, was arrested for
shoplifting at Target, located at the Bridgewater Promenade. Galvez-Hernandez selected merchandise then went into a self pay line where he scanned only select merchandise and did not pay for $391 worth of items. He was processed for the arrest and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
