New Aggravated Sexual Assault Charges Filed Against Raritan Double Homicide Suspect: Prosecutor
The Raritan man allegedly beat his girlfriend and her daughter to death in the borough in December.

RARITAN, NJ — A Somerset County Grand Jury returned an indictment against a Raritan man in connection with a double homicide of a mother and daughter in the borough in December, Acting Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson announced.
The indictment charges Ramon Cadiz, also known as “Ray”, age 52, of First Avenue, Raritan Borough with two counts of 1st Degree Murder, two counts of 3rd Degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, two counts of 1st Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, and one count 2nd Degree Sexual Assault.
The sexual assault charges are new to the case.

Police responded to 46 First Avenue on Dec. 11 at 3:15 p.m. after neighbors called regarding concerns for the welfare of the occupants of the residence.
Inside police found the dead body of Kim Streath, age 15 in the second floor master bedroom and the dead body of Sandra Guiseppe, age 51, on the first floor of the residence, according to police.

Guiseppe is the mother of Streath and was Cadiz's girlfriend at the time.
Neighbors have reported the mother and daughter were planning on leaving Cadiz prior to the incident and claim he beat the women to death with a hammer.
Detectives from the Raritan Borough Police Department in conjunction with detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Crime Scene Investigations and Forensics Unit identified Cadiz as a suspect.
He was located just before midnight North Brunswick parked in a secluded area on Petunia Drive in the Colony Oaks Apartment Complex. At approximately 4 a.m. Somerset County detectives approached the vehicle and found Cadiz sleeping in the front driver’s seat. He was arrested without incident.
Cadiz does have a prior history of beinga convicted killer in connection with a 1991 murder in Cumberland County.
He is currently lodged in the Somerset County Jail with bail having been previously set at $2,000,000 by the Honorable Julie M. Marino, Judge of the New Jersey Superior Court.
