New Jersey Accident on Garden State Parkway Leaves Two Dead

A report has just came in from NJ Turnpike Authority that as of 7:13 a.m., there has been an accident on the Garden State Parkway in Cranford.

Saturday two people were killed following an car crash and part of the Garden State Parkway was shut down.

According to State police, a vehicle driven by Kyia Fredericks, of Brick, was stopped in the center lane going southbound near mile marker 121.

Investigators says another vehicle rear-ended her car, killing her and her passenger, Rene Munoz, of Toms River.

Both Kyia and Rene were pronounced dead at the scene.

No charges have yet to be filed in the case.
