New Principal Hired For Bridgewater-Raritan High School
A new principal for Bridgewater-Raritan High School was approved by the Board of Education during its Tuesday night meeting.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A new principal for Bridgewater-Raritan High School was approved by the Board of Education during its Tuesday night meeting.
Charles Ezell will replace Mark Morrell following his retirement at the end of the 2017-18 school year. Ezell's salary will be approximately $152,000.
Ezell is currently the assistant principal at Columbia High School for the South Orange-Maplewood School District. He has served there for the past four years. Prior to that he served as vice principal at James Caldwell High School in the Caldwell-West Caldwell School District, according to his Linkedin profile.

Ezell was hired following a lengthy search process that included students, parents, administrators, and high school faculty and staff.
"Based on feedback from each stakeholder and the input from our parents and students, I believe Mr. Ezell’s experience and personal character best meets the needs of our high school," stated Superintendent of Schools Russell Lazovick in a letter.

Lazovick also went on to thank Morrell for his service at the high school
"His service to BRHS and our larger district has been incredible and we owe him a huge debt of gratitude for all he has given to our students," Lazovick stated. "He has been a part of the BRHS community for more than two decades and has built a strong foundation that will support us into the future."
