New Sushi, Hibachi, Korean BBQ Buffet Opening On Route 22 In Somerset County
Eat Well Modern Buffet is getting ready to open on Route 22 at the former Arooga's location in Somerset County.
NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — A new Modern Buffet is getting ready to open on Route 22 in Somerset County.
Eat Well Modern Buffet offering sushi, hibachi, and Korean BBQ will be opening at 1250 Route 22 in North Plainfield, next to Texas Roadhouse. The location formerly was home to Arooga's Grille House & Sports Bar which closed in October 2022.
"Get ready to indulge in a world of flavors as we bring the ultimate buffet experience to New Jersey. Our grand opening is just around the corner – prepare your taste buds for a culinary adventure like no other!" wrote Eat Well Modern Buffet.

The buffet offerings are endless with an array of seafood dishes, fried rice, noodles, ribs, dessert, and more.
An opening date has not been announced just yet but hours will include Sunday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
