DISTRICT 7, NJ — The polls are closed and the unofficial votes 2022 Primary Election results for District 7 Congressional race tallied. Incumbent Tom Malinowski and Tom Kean Jr. will once again face off in the November election.

Kean Jr. claimed the majority of the votes over six other candidates for the Republican ticket. Malinowski also claimed the majority of the votes over newcomer Roger Bacon for the democratic ticket.

It was a contested race for both the Republican and Democratic tickets with nine total candidates running.

District 7 covers all of Hunterdon County, and parts of Essex, Morris, Somerset, Union, and Warren counties.
