Overturned Car, 1 Hospitalized In Route 22 Bridgewater Crash
The crash caused the closure of all lanes of Route 22 west at the intersection of Route 28 on Thursday.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — An overturned car sent one woman to the hospital and caused all lanes on Route 22 West to close on Thursday.
At around 1:27 p.m., a 2005 Toyota Scion being driven by Frank Bruno Jr., 75, of Branchburg, hit a curb causing the car to overturn, said Traffic Safety Officer Joseph Greco.
Members of the Country Hills Volunteer Fire Company, North Branch Volunteer Fire Company and Robert Wood Johnson Hospital Paramedics went to the scene and rendered aid.

Bruno's wife Anita, 75, suffered an arm injury and was taken to Robert Wood Johnson New Brunswick.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time.
