Celebrate the Green

Friday in Hopewell: “Celebrate the Green” with a St. Patrick’s Day Party and fundraiser to benefit D&R Greenway. The event begins at 7 p.m. at Music Together, 225 Hopewell-Pennington Road, Hopewell. Wear green and bring your dancing shoes. Enjoy wine, beer, hors d'oeuvres, a green silent auction and performances by VOICES, Rince O' Chroi School of Irish Dance, Amy Zakar and Teamwork Dance. Escape Room Adventure

Friday, Saturday, Sunday in Cranford: Can you escape? Union County College will be hosting Escape Room events with funds raised going towards student scholarships. The Unlockable Adventure will be held Friday and Saturday from 7-10 p.m. and Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at the Cranford campus. More details here.

Bring It On, The Musical

Friday and Saturday in Rahway: Bring It On, The Musical, inspired by the hit movie "Bring It On" starring Kirsten Dunst will be presented by the Academy for Performing Arts High School in two evening performances this weekend, plus a Saturday matinee. More details here.

Irish Celebration

Saturday in Brick: Enjoy a fun afternoon of Irish music by Celtic Rebels Band, a buffet lunch, cash bar, raffles and 50/50. Proceeds benefit CASA's advocacy program for abused and neglected Ocean County children in foster care. The event is at P.J. Sweeney's Irish Restaurant & Pub and tickets are $20 per person in advance or $25 at the door. More details here.

26th Annual Antiques Show

Saturday in Wall: The Wall Historical Society will host its 26th annual spring antique show at Wall High School. More details here.

Hamilton Township St. Patrick's Day Parade

Saturday in Hamilton: The parade steps off on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Nottingham Fire House, 200 Mercer Street. The parade is typically held the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day, but was postponed one week due to weather. More details here.

Free Exercise Classes

Saturday in Marlton: LA Fitness will celebrate its grand opening in Marlton with free classes and other activities starting at 9 a.m. at 1051 Route 73 North in Marlton. Complimentary classes include an outdoor ZUMBA class, racquetball, and Boot Camp. There will also be a series of children’s fitness games, tours of the facility, a live broadcast by Q102 radio personality Casey Reed, along with fitness-oriented craft activities presented by The Garden State Discovery Museum. Saturday in Middletown: One person's trash is another person's treasure! Shop for attic treasures and collectibles at the second annual Trash to Treasure Sale sponsored by the Friends of the Library. More details here.

Lighthouse International Film Society Screening

Saturday in Beach Haven: The Lighthouse International Film Society will hold a screening of Spaghetti Man with a filmmaker Q & A to follow the film. The screening starts at 7:00 p.m.at the Long Beach Island Museum, 129 Engleside Ave, Beach Haven. Admission is $5 of free for LIFS members. More details here.

Comedy Night To Benefit Conservation

Saturday in Blairstown: Johnny Lampert, a regular on the NY and LA comedy scene, and Sherry Daveys, recently honored as one of the “Top 10 comedians in NYC,” will perform standup to benefit Ridge and Valley Conservancy. The event starts at 8 p.m. at Armstrong Hipkins Center for the Arts. More details here.

Team Zoey Fashion Show

Sunday in Mountain Lakes: Mountain Lakes High School will host its 8th Annual Fashion Show to benefit Team Zoey and the Progeria Research Foundation. Zoey Aster Penny is a 7-year-old girl from Verona who battles a fatal condition called Progeria, which prematurely ages kids many times faster than normal affecting approximately 1 in 20 million newborns. Bluegrass and Oldtime Music

Sunday in Little Silver: The Bluegrass and Oldtime Music Association will present its monthly stage show and jam at the Embury United Methodist Church on Church Street in Little Silver at 1 p.m. Typically five different sets of entertainers will perform bluegrass and country music.
