Pedestrian Hit By Car While Walking In Somerset County Over Memorial Day Weekend

The woman was taken to Robert Wood Johnson, Somerset with minor injuries, said police.

WARREN, NJ — A Florida woman was hit by a car while walking in Warren this past weekend, said police.

On Saturday May 27 at around 2 p.m., the crash occurred when a 17-year-old Warren resident was driving on Mountain Boulevard, said Warren Police.

The teen was making a left onto Mount Bethel Road when they hit the 49-year-old woman from Fort Meyers, Florida, said police.

She was taken to Robert Wood Johnson, Somerset with minor injuries. No summonses were issued.

Police also reported earlier that day at 4:47 a.m., someone broke into Jersey Mikes Subs in the Pheasant Run Shopping Plaza.

The burglar stole around $500 from the register, said police.
