Missing Bridgewater Teen Found Dead

Breaking: Frances Wang, 16, of Martinsville who was missing Saturday has been found dead by Bridgewater Police as of 10 p.m.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ - A 16-year-old Bridgewater teen who went missing early Saturday has been found dead, police said around 10 p.m. the same day.

"Our missing person had been found and is unfortunately, deceased. Please allow the family to have privacy in this trying time. The matter is under investigation. Thank you for your assistance," Bridgewater Police reported.

Frances Wang of the Martinsville section of Bridgewater was last seen at around 2 a.m. Saturday morning possibly wearing a blue colored jacket near Vosseller Avenue.

K9 units and New Jersey State Police airship had been in the area searching all day. They last reported searching at Chimney Rock Park.

Wang was described as an Asian female, 5 ft 6 in., 120 lbs. She had blue dyed steaks in her hair, Bridgewater Police reported Saturday morning when they sent out an alert to residents.

Police had asked residents living on nearby roads to check their home security cameras.
