“The Midland After-School Program provides Midland students with the opportunity to socialize and continue learning in a nurturing and safe environment with exceptional staff who are deeply committed to the specialized needs of children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities,” says Midland’s President and CEO, Shawn McInerney. “Thanks to the generosity of the Provident Bank Foundation, Midland can continue to offer recreational opportunities for students to acquire new skills and interests in athletics, crafts, music, film and other activities outside of the academic environment. This peer-to-peer interaction is essential for our students as they develop their social skills, and we are very grateful to the Provident Bank Foundation for making this grant possible.”
The $3,000 donation was presented by Tanner Bruckmann, Bank Associate, to Shawn McInerney, President and CEO during a check presentation on March 7th held at the school. Midland students who actively participate in Midland’s After School Programs joined in for the presentation photo-op.
