Rainy Weekend On Tap For Somerset County

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — It's a wet one out there and forecasters predict the wet, soggy weather will continue all weekend.

Weekend weather via the National Weather Service:

Today: A chance of drizzle before 2 p.m., then a slight chance of rain after 2 p.m. Areas of fog before 2 p.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 50. North wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Tonight: Rain, mainly after midnight. Low around 36. North wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Sunday: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 40. Northeast wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Sunday Night: A chance of rain before 11 p.m., then a chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. North wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. West wind 5 to 14 mph.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 27.
