Raritan Police Search For Man Wanted In Theft

The Raritan Borough Police Department is asking the public for help to identify a man who they say stole a wallet at Quick Chek on Friday.

RARITAN, NJ — The Raritan Borough Police Department is asking the public for help to identify a man who they say stole a wallet at Quick Chek on Friday morning.

The wanted man took the wallet that was misplaced at the Quick Chek on West Somerset Street, left and walked south onto Lyman Street near Canal Street, Raritan Police said.

The wallet contained numerous forms of identification, credit cards and nearly $2,000 in cash, police said.

"We believe that he lives locally and expect to make a fast identification," police said.
