Bridgewater-Raritan Passes Full Day Kindergarten: Unofficial Results

After decades, Bridgewater-Raritan voters have finally approved full-day kindergarten for residents.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Parents can rejoice as full-day kindergarten passes in the Bridgewater-Raritan School District 2023 general election, according to unofficial results.

The ballot question asked the two communities to approve recurring operating costs of the full-day kindergarten, totaling $2.46 million. This includes 15 general education teachers, two special education teachers, two custodians, and the utility and transportation costs.

Here are the real-time unofficial results for the Referendum, and Board of Education candidates. According to Somerset County, 100 percent of the districts have reported. However, these results remain unofficial until all mail-in and provisional ballots are counted:
