Russo Endorsed By Multiple Law Enforcement Organizations For Sheriff

Retired Franklin Township Police Lieutenant Darrin Russo​, who is running for Somerset County Sheriff by numerous law enforcement agencies

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — Retired Franklin Township Police Lieutenant Darrin Russo, who is running for Somerset County Sheriff has received the support and endorsement by a number of organizations

The New Jersey State PBA, The New Jersey State Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives and The Middlesex-Somerset County Police Benevolent Association.

Russo is running against incumbent Frank Provenzano for Somerset County Sheriff.

"Combined with his three decades of service as a police officer, Darrin has the tenacity and competence to reform county law enforcement and bring a higher level of dedication and protection for all county residents. Darrin’s plan to partner with local police departments, build new relationships between the sheriff’s office and key community groups, and to invest in new cyber security programs make him the obvious choice for police officers and Somerset County voters. We strongly encourage everyone to support Darrin Russo on Column 2.” The President of the New Jersey State Policeman’s Benevolent Association, Pat Colligan said in a statement:
