RVCC To Have Early Dismissal Wednesday Due To Impending Storm

BRANCHBURG, NJ — Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg will close at noon on Wednesday due to the impending storm.

All classes and events have been cancelled, the college announced Wednesday at 10:45 a.m.

Somerset County Senior Centers are also closed and the Richard Hall Community Mental Health Center of Somerset County is closing early at 5 p.m. (See Related: Somerset County Senior Centers Closed Wednesday)

Multiple school districts in the area have also closed Wednesday including: Bernards Township, Bedminster, Somerset Hills, Warren, Watchung and Green Brook.

Other districts are having an early dismissal including: Bridgewater-Raritan, Hillsborough, Manville, and Pingry.

Governor Phil Murphy has declared a state of emergency and a commercial truck ban on state highways. There is a possibility of 2 to 5 inches of snow and freezing rain expected and a winter weather advisory has been issued in all 21 New Jersey counties, with the majority of the snow falling between 2 and 5 p.m. (See Related: Hour-By-Hour Forecast Of NJ Winter Weather)
