BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Michael Dagostino of Bridgewater, a senior enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program at Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School (SCVTHS), was honored by the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA) as a Somerset County "Unsung Hero" at a ceremony held on March 3.

According to the NJSBA, "Unsung Heroes make outstanding contributions to their schools and committees, even though they are often overlooked under traditional student recognition guidelines. Unsung Heroes can be students who make their school a better place because of their warm personality, their empathy and concern for others. They tend to not let obstacles stop them."

Michael is involved in many school activities including being a member of the National Technical Honor Society, which, among other things, organizes charitable giving events throughout the year.
