Snow Totals For Somerset County

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — The first nor'easter of the fall/winter season this year fell on Thursday and left a mess in Somerset County.

A fatality was reported involving a car and train, hundreds of disabled cars on snowy roadways and early school dismissals.

Here is how much snow some Somerset County towns got, according to the National Weather Service:

• Bridgewater Township - 7.5 inches
• Basking Ridge - 6 inches
• Somerset - 6 inches
• Hillsborough Township - 5 inches
• Branchburg Township - 4 inches
• Bernardsville - 2.1 inches
