SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — The polls are closed and the unofficial votes 2022 Primary Election results for the Somerset County races are being tallied. There were no local township races this year in Bridgewater.

All the Somerset County races were uncontested in the primary election.

Somerset County Sheriff

Somerset County Clerk

• Steve Peter - Democrat* - 13,429
• Suzanne Maeder - Republican - 12,102

The only contested race was the New Jersey Legislative District 7 Representative:

The general election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
