Carpentry Instructor Dan LaRue also worked on the build.
The Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School team installed flooring, shelving, and a ramp.
The team also prepared a crawl space under the homes for the installation of a sump pump.
The work gave students a chance to apply carpentry skills in a live construction setting while supporting a local housing effort.
"We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Raritan Valley Habitat for Humanity, which provides our students with meaningful, real-world learning experiences while helping them develop valuable career skills," said Rob Carrig, SCVTHS Supervisor of Career and Technical Education.
"Beyond the hands-on training, our students find tremendous pride and fulfillment in giving back to the community," Carrig said.
The home will serve two families once the duplex is finished and sold.
