Somerville, N.J. – March 11, 2020 – Staff and volunteers from Somerville YMCA, a branch of Greater Somerset County YMCA, presented staff from Steeplechase Cancer Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset with blankets for their patients.

Cancer patients often feel cold when they are sitting in one place for several hours receiving chemotherapy. A new blanket not only provides warmth, but comfort. Some patients report that a hand-made blanket helps them to think about the person who made it, rather than the chemo they are receiving.
