At about 7:36 p.m. police got a call about shots fired and a gunshot wound victim at the Farm Lane home in Bound Brook.

Bound Brook Police officers found a man outside the home, who has since been identified as Coulanges, suffering from gunshot wounds, Robertson said.

Coulanges was sent to an area trauma center, where he later died of his injuries, Robertson said.

A preliminary finding by the Medical Examiner’s Office listed Coulanges’ cause of death as gunshot wounds and the manner of death as homicide.

Interviews with numerous neighbors found that they heard what they believed to be gunshots during the time frame of about 5:30 to 6 p.m. which contradicted what the Keogh family told officers.

The motive for the homicide has not been confirmed and the investigation remains ongoing.

On Thursday, Feb. 14 at about 8:55 a.m., Ryan D. Keogh was arrested by investigators without incident at a home on Madison Avenue, Manchester. Keogh was charged with first-degree murder, second-degree possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, third degree hindering investigation, third-degree endangering an injured victim, and fourth-degree false swearing.

Cindy V. Keogh and David J. Keogh surrendered to investigators at the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office, where each were arrested and charged with third-degree hindering investigation, third-degree endangering an injured victim, and fourth-degree false swearing.

Ryan D. Keogh was lodged at the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing. Cindy V. Keogh and David J. Keogh were released on their own recognizance pending a future court date.
