Stolen Vehicle, Car Burglary Under Investigation In Raritan

Residents are reminded to lock their vehicle's doors and remove any valuables from inside.

RARITAN, NJ — The Raritan Borough Police Department is reminding residents to remain vigilant following a recent vehicle theft and a separate burglary.

The stolen vehicle and the burglary to another vehicle happened on Tuesday night, Raritan Police said.

"Again, we would like to remind our residents to please lock your car doors. There is also no need to leave your keys in the car along with any additional valuables. A majority of the motor vehicle burglaries we investigate involve vehicles with unlocked doors. Please don't make yourself or your property an easy target," police said.
