BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A trapped driver was rescued by Bridgewater firefighters after he hit an icy patch on the road and overturned, said police.
On Jan. 12 at around 6:27 a.m., Bridgewater Police Officers went to North Mountain Avenue in the area of Woodland Terrace for a report of an overturned motor vehicle.
The vehicle, a 1998 Ford Explorer driven by Richard Vigliotti, 82, of Warren, was going south on N. Mountain Ave. when it drove over an icy patch on the roadway.
