Unlocked Car Burglarized In Bridgewater
Bridgewater Police also reported making multiple arrests for driving while intoxicated and shoplifting.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater Police reported a car burglary and multiple arrests for driving while intoxicated and shoplifting recently.
Bridgewater Police blotter:
On July 11 at 2:33 a.m.: Edgar Casique-Marcos, 37, of South Bound Brook was arrested for DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Promenade Blvd. During the stop suspected marijuana edibles were located inside the vehicle. Marcos was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. He was issued summonses for DWI, reckless driving and operating a motor vehicle while in possession of controlled dangerous substance. He was released with a pending municipal court appearance.

On July 15: A resident of Chimney Rock Road reported a burglary to her unlocked vehicle. Items taken were iPhone’s and cash.
On July 14 at 7:51 p.m.: Alicia Morales Ruiz, 40, of New Brunswick was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from Macy’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Ruiz shoplifted several shirts worth $246. She was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On July 22: A resident of Linden Street reported that someone smashed the driver side window on their vehicle that was parked in the driveway.
On July 19 at 6:40 p.m.: Teresa L. Quinones, 38, of Somerset was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from Macy’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Quinones shoplifted Nike clothing worth $41.25. She was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.
On July 17 at 11:30 p.m.: A Bridgewater resident reported that while driving on Garretson Road near Country Club Road, someone threw a rock at her vehicle and damaged her windshield. Three young boys were seen running from the area.
On June 11 at 1:49 p.m.: Anthony J. Coleman, 35, of North Plainfield was stopped for motor vehicle violations on Route 22 west. During the stop, it was determined that Coleman was under the influence of alcohol. Coleman was arrested and charged with DWI, speeding and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending municipal court appearance.
