Police Arrest Wanted Woman Accused Of Theft From Homebound Somerset County Local: Update
UPDATE: Authorities have arrested Lisa Pryor who police say was wanted for using a homebound Branchburg woman's credit card on herself.

BRANCHBURG, NJ — A woman wanted in connection with the theft of about $22,000 from a medically homebound Somerset County resident was found and arrested on Tuesday, authorities said.
Lisa Pryor, 55, of Monroe, was arrested by Plainsboro Police at her place of employment on Tuesday, March 22 at around 9:50 a.m., announced Acting Somerset County Prosecutor Thomas Chirichella and Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor.

On Sept. 7, 2021, a Branchburg Township resident reported that someone had unlawfully used her credit card, as well as personal identifying information, to steal about $22,000, according to Chirichella.
A follow-up investigation by Branchburg Township Police Detectives found that Lisa Pryor, 55, of Monroe, was identified as the person wanted in the theft, according to authorities.

The Branchburg resident, who was homebound due to a medical condition, said Pryor was an acquaintance to whom she gave her credit card so Pryor could grocery shop for the resident, said Chirichella.
Over a period of time, Pryor used the credit card for her sole personal benefit without the resident's permission or knowledge, according to authorities.
On March 16, 2022, Pryor was formally charged with third-degree theft by deception, third-degree fraudulent use of a credit card, third-degree identity theft, and fourth-degree credit card theft.
Investigating detectives have been unsuccessful in locating Pryor. Anyone with information as to her whereabouts and anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to contact the Branchburg Township Police Department at 908-526-3830 or via the STOPit app.
