Maple Sugaring at Lord Stirling Park

Saturday, March 11 at 10 a.m.: Maple sugaring is a tradition in the Northeast that began centuries ago with the Native Americans and colonists. People of all ages are invited to see this tradition brought to life at the Environmental Education Center (EEC). You will see how trees are tapped, view sap-collecting methods past and present, and see the boiling process that produces delicious New Jersey maple syrup. More details here.

Fanwood Irish Festival 2017

Saturday, Mach 11 from 12 to 10 p.m. and Sunday, March 12 from 12 to 5 p.m.: Sheelen’s Crossing will be presenting the 6th Annual Fanwood Irish Festival on Saturday, March 11 from 12 to 10 p.m. and Sunday, March 12 from 12 to 5 p.m. at the Southside of the Fanwood Train Station, located at S. Pasta Dinner Fundraiser to Support Teen Volunteers

Saturday, March 11 at 5 p.m.: Teen volunteers from Warren and Bridgewater will be hosting a buffet dinner on Saturday, March 11, at 5 pm and 7 pm, at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church, 42 Liberty Corner Road, in Warren. Tickets are $15 per adult and $8 per child 10-years-old and under. Take-out dinners, which must be ordered before March 11, are $15 each. More details here.

Somerville St. Patrick's Day Parade 2017

Sunday, March 12 at 1:30 p.m.: The parade will be held on March 12 at 1:30 p.m. and will run along Main Street in Somerville. The parade will begin on Main Street across from the Somerset County Courthouse and continue along Route 28, W Main Street up to West End Avenue where it will end at the corner of West End Avenue and Mountain Avenue. Sunday, March 12 at 2 p.m.: Let's celebrate St. Patrick's Day a wee bit early with this live musical concert featuring Irish singer and musician, Ian Gallagher. Sunday, March 12 at 3 p.m.: Each of The Five Irish Tenors comes from varied musical backgrounds, but when their voices are together, it’s pure Irish magic. Vox Fidelis to perform sacred choral music at St. Paul's Church

Sunday, March 12 at 4 p.m.: On Sunday, March 12, 2017, at 4:00 pm, Vox Fidelis, an a capella choral ensemble specializing in Renaissance polyphonic sacred music, will present Woefully Arrayed--The Love and Passion of Christ at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Westfield, NJ.
