Woman Killed After Being Hit By Her Own Vehicle: Bridgewater Cops

The woman was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, where she died from her injuries, police said.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A woman was killed after being hit by her own car after parking on a hill, Bridgewater Police said.

On Tuesday at around 10:16 a.m., Kathleen McAdams, 75, of Piscataway parked her 1998 Ford Explorer in the lot of 9E Easy St. in Bridgewater, which had a downhill grade, Bridgewater Police Lt. Thomas Rice said.

McAdams was hit by her SUV after parking it and taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, where she died from her injuries, Rice said.

The crash is being investigated by the Bridgewater Police Department Traffic Safety Unit.
