• New ordinance regulates openings in new streets (starnewsgroup.com) — Brielle residents should know a new borough ordinance now restricts cutting into any paved street less than seven years old, requiring enhanced restoration and escrow to protect newly improved roads. The council also installed permanent electronic speed signs on Rankin Road and Brielle Avenue, with more planned on Fisk, Green, and Riverview to address ongoing speeding concerns and collect traffic data.
