Working with NJDEP to Clean Up Wastewater Spill at Resource Recovery Complex in Florence (tapinto.net) — Burlington County officials are working with NJDEP to clean up a wastewater spill from the county’s Resource Recovery Complex on Burlington‑Columbus Road in Florence, where up to 25,000 gallons reached a basin draining to Assiscunk Creek. The county says the leak was quickly contained and residents with concerns can contact NJDEP or the Burlington County Public Information Office for more details.
   

• Man Charged With Murder In South Jersey Cold Case (patch.com) — Burlington County prosecutors say a 32‑year‑old Burlington City man has been charged in a 2020 shooting death in Edgewater Park that left a Burlington City resident dead. Investigators recently reviewed ballistic evidence, leading to new charges and a warrant served at Burlington County Jail, where the suspect was already being held on unrelated matters.
