• So far, nobody can catch Sussex County's runaway emu (nj1015.com) — A runaway emu has been spotted around Byram Township, most recently near Cranberry Lake, and residents are urged not to chase or try to capture it. Instead, anyone who sees the fast-moving bird should immediately call Byram Township police as animal control works with experienced handlers to secure it safely.
