47th Annual Essex Shillelagh Club Dinner

West Orange, NJ April 13, 2015: The Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh are planning their 47th Annual Dinner Dance for Saturday, May 16th, 2015 at Mayfair Farms in West Orange. The event will begin at 6:00 with a cocktail hour and dinner and dancing to follow at 7:00 p.m.

This years Honorees are Shillelagh Men of the Year John Prior, a West Caldwell resident and Robert Gunning of Long Valley. Both Gunning and Prior are long-time members and past presidents of The Friendly Sons. Also being honored as 2015 Friend of the Shillelagh Club is Sean McGinley, of Kinnelon. Mr. McGinley is owner/operator of McGinley Building Services, Inc. of Montville, NJ. All of the honorees also have lifelong connections to West Orange and Essex County.

Tickets to the event are available for $90 and include cocktail hour, 5 hour open bar, dinner, dancing to The Tommy Flynn New York Showband, and performances by The Shillelagh Pipe Band and the DeNogla School of Irish Dance. There will also be commemorative Ad Journal highlighting sponsors of the event. It is not too late to support the organization or the honorees with an ad or by purchasing tickets and joining them for an evening of exceptional Irish entertainment.
