Acing the College Essay
Learn how to build your best college essay with speaker Liz Moore on August 25, 2016 at West Caldwell Public Library
West Caldwell, N.J. —West Caldwell Public Library invites high school students and their parents and caregivers to join speaker Elizabeth Moore on Thursday, August 25 at 7:00 PM as she presents Acing the College Essay. Our speaker will walk you through the steps of writing a killer essay for your college applications.
Liz Moore is a former journalist who is the current Director of Communications for Rutgers Law School and a former media specialist for Drew University. She teaches media writing, journalism and public speaking at William Paterson University and Drew University. She was previously a reporter at the Star Ledger in Newark, New Jersey and is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley.
The program is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required. High school students and parents or caregivers can register by calling the Library at 973-226-5441 or signing up online at http://tinyurl.com/WCPL-Events. The program will be held at the West Caldwell Public Library located at 30 Clinton Road, West Caldwell NJ 07006.
