An autopsy was performed Monday on a North Caldwell man who died Saturday from third-degree burns to virtually his entire body, Police Chief Mark Deuer said.

The man in his 20s was found alone and there was a gasoline can discovered in the area, Deuer said. The police are not yet releasing the man's identity or further information on the incident.
