Road Construction Project In North Caldwell Will Begin This Week
Milling and paving operations will begin on a stretch of roadway in North Caldwell on Thursday.
NORTH CALDWELL, NJ — Milling and paving operations will begin on a stretch of roadway in North Caldwell on Thursday, May 7.
According to a municipal advisory, the work will take place on East Greenbrook Road from Central Avenue to Mountain Avenue.
Milling of the roadway is scheduled to happen on May 7 and May 8.

Paving of the roadway (weather permitting) is scheduled for May 11 and May 12.
North Caldwell borough officials had the following advice for local residents:

“Please be advised that access to and from residences will be limited during milling operations. Roads will be fully closed for several hours during paving. Residents can park on Farmstead Road, Evergreen Drive or Woodland Avenue. All vehicles must be removed from the roadway by 7 a.m. on the day work is scheduled. Please be aware of the posted road closure and ‘NO PARKING’ signs.”
“We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience due to construction activities and appreciate your cooperation,” the borough’s advisory said.
