Broken Sewer Line In The Caldwells Forces Temporary Road Closure: Police
A sewer line broke in West Caldwell and authorities temporarily shut down a road, police say.

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — The West Caldwell Police Department announced that a “utility emergency” shut down Kirkpatrick Lane on Tuesday afternoon. NJ Transit and DeCamp were both aware of the situation, police said.
West Caldwell Police Chief Gerard Paris told Patch at 2:43 p.m. that a broken sewer line was discovered and is being repaired.
West Caldwell police stated at 4:28 p.m. that Kirkpatrick Lane reopened.
