Bus Overturns On I-280 In Essex County: Police
A bus overturned on the eastbound stretch of I-280, causing minor injuries to two of the five occupants, police say.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A bus overturned on the eastbound stretch of I-280 in Roseland on Wednesday morning, causing minor injuries to two of the five occupants, police say.
According to the NJ State Police, the crash took place around milepost 3.8 on I-280 and caused officials to temporarily shut down the left lane.
The Roseland Fire Department stated that the incident took place near Exit 4 and involved an “overturned coach bus.”

“Firefighters made the scene safe and treated injuries until EMS arrival,” the Roseland Fire Department stated.
The Roseland First Aid Squad, MONOC Medic 254, Atlantic EMS and Roseland Police Department were also on scene, the RFD stated.
