In Caldwell: 5K Run and Walk in Memory of Meghan Doyle

Mount Saint Dominic Academy (MSDA) in Caldwell will host the inaugural “MSDA Meghan Doyle ’05 Memorial 5K Run/Walk” at 9 a.m., on Saturday, May 9, at its campus on 3 Ryerson Ave.

The event will raise scholarship money for the young women of The Mount in memory of its alumna, Meghan Doyle.

According to event organizers:

“At the Mount, Meghan lived life to the fullest and did her best to make sure others did as well. Her firm convictions and determination flourished at Fairfield University, Fairfield, Connecticut and among her co-workers at Charitybuzz, a company that helps non-profit and charities raise money through on-line auctions. Meghan’s all too brief life was well lived. The Mount community and Meghan’s family want her beautiful spirit to continue.”

The USATF-certified, five-kilometer (3.1 mile) course will take participants through the MSDA campus and Essex Fells. Visit http://www.MSDAcademy.org for more information or to register for the event.
