Caldwell Council Meeting Going Online Due To Coronavirus

CALDWELL, NJ — NOTE: This article has been updated with changes to the meeting time and webinar ID, as per the Borough of Caldwell.

The Borough of Caldwell will be taking its Tuesday meeting online due to the new coronavirus. See 2020 borough council meeting agendas and booklets online.

According to a recent advisory from the township:

“Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Municipal Council of the Borough of Caldwell shall continue their regular meeting, previously scheduled for March 17 at 7:15 p.m. in Caldwell Borough Hall, on Tuesday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in Caldwell Borough Hall. The general public will not be permitted to attend this meeting in person, but rather shall be allowed to witness, hear and participate in this meeting electronically. Directions on how to participate electronically may be found on the Borough website, located at https://caldwell-nj.com or by calling (973) 403-4638 on either Monday or Tuesday during normal business hours. While final details will be posted to the website, the following are the current expectations regarding public access. The meeting will be televised on Channel 35 in the normal manner and should be available through the Borough Facebook page. The public may file questions in advance or during the meeting by email to either Council President Schmidt at cschmidt@caldwell-nj.com or to Councilman Lace at jlace@caldwell-nj.com. Audio and video connections to the meeting will be available using the Internet platform "Zoom."
