Caldwell May Change Town Seal (Here’s What It Looks Like)

A proposed town seal for Caldwell will be voted on later this year. Check out the old and new designs.

CALDWELL, NJ — Caldwell may soon have a new town seal.

During the Caldwell Brough Council meeting on Oct. 1, Carolynn O'Brien from The Graphics Connection Inc. gave a presentation on a new version of the municipal seal, which the borough authorized her company to create earlier this year.

Councilman Jonathan Lace posted the following message about the proposed seal on social media:

“Featured are James Caldwell, our namesake, the natural beauty of Caldwell as seen in our trees, and the prestige we enjoy from being the birthplace of the 22nd and 24th President of the United States, Grover Cleveland. The Council will be introducing an ordinance later this year to officially update our Borough seal.”
