Caldwell Police, Fire Respond To Air Conditioning Issue At Carlyle Towers

The Carlyle Towers on Bloomfield Avenue experienced a brief air conditioner-related issue, police say.

CALDWELL, NJ — Caldwell police and fire crews responded to the Carlyle Towers at 512 Bloomfield Avenue around 11 p.m. on Wednesday due to an issue with an air conditioning unit, authorities said.

Caldwell Police Chief James Bongiorno said that police and fire units disconnected the air conditioning unit until it can be repaired and declared the location safe later that evening.

No additional information was immediately available.
