Caldwell Traffic Alert: Milling, Paving Work Will Affect Parking
Milling and paving work is slated for Lincoln Terrace, Washburn Place and Birkendene Road in Caldwell on Dec. 4 and 5.

CALDWELL, NJ — Get ready for milling and paving work on Lincoln Terrace, Washburn Place and Birkendene Road, Caldwell. According to the Caldwell Police Department, construction work on the above roadways is slated to start on Monday, Dec. 4 and continue until the evening of Tuesday, Dec. 5. All work is scheduled to take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The Caldwell Police Department issued the following advisory at 8:15 p.m. on Sunday:
“The milling and paving will start on Lincoln Terrace and proceed to Washburn Place then to Birkendene Road. If you need to leave your residence during the construction times on Monday and Tuesday, please park your vehicle on a street near your residence overnight. Overnight parking enforcement will be suspended for Sunday night, December 3 and Monday night, December 4 on all streets and municipal parking lots surrounding the aforementioned roadways. Once the milling and paving begins, no vehicles will be allowed onto the milled and paved roadway for the duration of the milling and paving operation for that day.”
