Caldwell Traffic Alert: Reindeer Run 5K Coming Saturday

CALDWELL, NJ — Caldwell authorities will close down Forest Avenue on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 2 for the Trinity HSA 5K Reindeer Run.

According to a Friday afternoon alert from the Caldwell Police Department:

“Forest Avenue will be closed from Bloomfield Avenue to the Caldwell town line between the hours of 7:30 and 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2 for the Trinity HSA 5K Reindeer Run. No vehicular access will be allowed onto Forest Avenue from any side street for the entire length of Forest Avenue between the same hours. Certain areas of Hatfield Street, Smull Avenue, Personnette Street and all of Forest Avenue will be posted 'no parking' for the 5K run. In addition, vehicular travel on Kirkwood Place will be allowed both ways for residential access. There will be posted 'no parking' on Kirkwood Place for the entire street. We are also requesting the residents of Forest Avenue use extra caution and due diligence when exiting their driveways during the times mentioned above.”
