Caldwells To Host Caroline Fund 5K Run; Police Issue Traffic Advisory
The Caroline Fund will host its annual 5K run in Caldwell on Saturday, Sept. 16.
CALDWELL, NJ — The Caroline Fund will host its annual 5K run in Caldwell on Saturday, Sept. 16. For more information about the fundraiser, click here.
On Friday, the North Caldwell Police Department issued the following advisory about traffic related to the event.
“The run will begin on Hatfield Street in Caldwell at 9 a.m., and proceed North on Smull Avenue. The run continues into North Caldwell via Smull Avenue and Mountain Avenue, then returns to West Caldwell via Mountain Avenue, continuing South along Forest Avenue. The run concludes at Trinity Academy.”

“During the 5K Run, avoid Mountain Avenue Southbound from 8:30 a.m. to about 11 a.m. The roadway will be closed to southbound traffic south of Gould Avenue. Smull Avenue and Forest Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic between 9 a.m. until approximately 11 a.m. Mountain Avenue detours will affect Windridge, Fox Run, Lilac, Roosevelt and White Oak. Smull Avenue detours will affect Soder, Stony Brook, Dogwood and Winding Way. Please plan alternate routes using Central Avenue to get through town to avoid detours.”
