Caldwells Will Remember 9/11 Victims On 20th Anniversary

CALDWELLS, NJ — There will be separate ceremonies held in Caldwell, North Caldwell and West Caldwell to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

CALDWELL

The Borough of Caldwell will hold a ceremony in remembrance of the September 11 attacks on Saturday, Sept. 11. It will include participants from various faith communities, first responders, the American Legion and Caldwell University.

The event will start at 8:30 a.m. and is expected to finish by 9:15 a.m. It will take place on the Green, and parking will be available on Forest Avenue or in the Saint Aloysius parking lot.

NORTH CALDWELL

The Borough of North Caldwell will hold a 9/11 commemoration ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 11 in front of Borough Hall, 141 Gould Avenue.

According to a municipal advisory, the event will take place at 8:46 a.m., when the first plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

WEST CALDWELL

West Caldwell will hold a 9/11 remembrance ceremony at 10 a.m. at the monuments in Crane Park on Saturday, Sept. 11.

According to a municipal advisory, the ceremony will include a tribute to bereaved local families and the victims of the attacks.
