Delayed Opening Called For Public Schools In The Caldwells Due To Snow
Three public school districts in the Caldwells have called a snow delay, but "we will re-evaluate," one said. See below.
THE CALDWELLS — As forecasters expect a snowstorm to bear down on Essex County, three public school districts that educate (now very happy) kids in the Caldwells have announced a delayed opening for Tuesday — which could be revised later.
'We Will Re-Evaluate'
Officials in Caldwell and West Caldwell announced, "Due to the forecast, all Caldwell-West Caldwell Public Schools will follow a delayed opening schedule on Tuesday, February 28th. The Before-Care program will not operate."

There was similar news in the North Caldwell schools: "Due to the inclement weather forecast for the morning of Tuesday, February 28th, we will have a 2-hour delayed opening. Please have your child to school by 10:30AM. Should the forecast change we will re-evaluate to determine if a school closure is necessary. Thank you."
And in the West Essex School District: "The West Essex Regional School District will be operating on a 2-hour delayed opening on Tuesday."
