Donate Blood and Save a Life

It's that time of year again. The Deacons' Semi-Annual Blood Drive is here!

The Deacons’ semi-annual blood drive is scheduled for Tuesday, April 26th from 3:00-8:00PM. People in good health and who weigh at least 110 pounds are eligible to donate. Blood donors must be 17 years of age or older, but those who are 75+ must bring a doctor’s note stating that you are healthy and able to donate blood. Remember, you must wait 8 weeks between blood donations.

The Mission of the Deacons Blood Drive is to reach out to the community, providing blood supplies to those in need. These Blood Drives not only provide a critical supply of blood to area residents, but are another example of the fellowship that exists in our church.

The Deacons of First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell arrange two blood drives a year with the Blood Bank of North Jersey (usually one in April and one in October). Deacon bakers provide delicious food for those who have donated blood and our church is renowned for our special treats!
