Elizabeth “Betty” Cornine, 87

Elizabeth “Betty” Cornine (Burke), 87, of West Caldwell, passed away on Monday, Oct. 31, 2011.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 28 Livingston Ave., Roseland, NJ. Interment to follow at in Caldwell.

Visiting hours are Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Ave., Roseland, 07068.

Betty was born in Morristown, lived in Roseland and settled in West Caldwell over 50 years ago. She was an avid parishioner of Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament Church in Roseland, who attended Mass daily and was active in the church community.  She was an active participant in the Caldwell/West-Caldwell senior community. She was a homemaker and enjoyed the company of family, especially her grandchildren. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Vernon “Bud” Cornine; devoted mother of Thomas Cornine and his wife Maggie, Nancy Robinson and her husband Jim, Robert Cornine and his wife Regina and the late Roger Cornine; and cherished grandmother of Shannon, Casey, Kate, Devin and Anya.
