Fatal Essex County Accident: Motorcycle and Pickup Truck Collide
Police are investigating a fatal accident between a motorcycle and a pickup truck that killed a 28-year-old Paterson man in Fairfield.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Authorities are investigating a fatal accident between a motorcycle and a pickup truck that killed a 28-year-old Paterson man on Friday.
According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the fatal collision took place between a Suzuki GSX motorcycle and a Ford F-150 pickup truck around 12:40 p.m. near Passaic Avenue and Little Falls Road.
Cesar Alberto Garcia Tapia, 28, of Paterson, was transported to Saint Joseph's Hospital in Paterson where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

No charges have been filed, authorities stated on Saturday. The Fairfield Police Department and the Essex County Prosecutor's Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force are conducting an investigation.
